Halal and Kosher Lamb
For Halal or Kosher needs, Icelandic rams remain INTACT for slaughter, with no alteration of the meat's flavor. We can provide a whole live lamb that meets your religious feast needs. The reservation fee remains $100, and the total price will be based on a hanging carcass estimate of the live weight.

Anyone can enjoy the incredible flavor of delicacy Icelandic lamb at a fraction of the cost by purchasing your own live lamb and selecting your cuts! Our lamb chops will melt in your mouth.
- Place a deposit now to reserve your lamb.
- We send the lamb to a local processor for you. You pick it up and pay the cut and wrap fee to the processor. We can help you select cuts if this is your first time!
- Pay us the remaining balance of $7/lb hanging weight of your lamb.
- Pay the butcher your cut and wrap fees when you pick up your wrapped lamb a couple of weeks later.
This $100 deposit reserves your lamb. The balance is due when we weigh at slaughter. Slaughter is here on the farm via a professional mobile kill service. Hanging weights range typically between 40-60lbs.

Cuts yield is approximately 30-45lbs. Your total costs should be between $10-$11 per pound of retail lamb meat. Some cuts are worth over $30/lb, so this is a great advantage for our customers.

About our Flock
Our boutique flock of ancient, heritage breed, horned Icelandic sheep, is raised naturally and humanely - no castration or tail docking is even necessary. We let our ewes gradually wean their lambs off milk on their own. Our flock feeds on a free-choice mineral mix that includes essential vitamins, selenium and other minerals, dried Icelandic kelp, and diatomaceous earth. Rams remain INTACT, a unique option with the Icelandic sheep breed.
